received a job confirmation from Vivian today (finally)
and with a peace of mind, dropped by OCBC bank to start a monthly savings account, cashing in S$800 every month w.e.f today;

My parents will chip in S$400 every month. so for my part, it's like...
S$1,800 - S$360(CPF) - S$400(household) - S$400(MSA) = S$640

only S$640 left for myself every month till 2 yrs later.

(S$800 x 25(mths)) + (S$800 x 0.0148(p.a. interest) x 25(mths))
= S$20,296

S$20,296 - (S$400(parents'-chip-in) x 25(mths))
= S$10,296


i'll be S$10,296 richer 2 yrs later!!! (hopefully)
